On December 30, 2025, the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kanbek Dosmambetov, visited the oncology and oncohematology departments of the National Center for Maternal and Child Health, as well as the Rehabilitation Center for Children and Family Support in Bishkek. In anticipation of the New Year holidays, the National Center for Maternal and Child Health was filled with an atmosphere of fun and joy. A New Year program was organized for the young patients of the oncology and oncohematology departments, featuring entertainers. Bright costumes, smiles, and caring attention helped distract the children from the difficulties associated with their condition and gave them a sense of magic. Each child received New Year gifts.
Then the minister visited the Rehabilitation Center for Children and Family Support in Bishkek. Here, the festive mood was shared not only by the children but also by the staff who care for children with special needs every day. As a sign of recognition for their dedication and patience, the nurses and educators of the center received awards and certificates of honor from the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic. The children also received New Year gifts.
Kanbek Dosmambetov congratulated the parents and children on the upcoming New Year and expressed gratitude to all healthcare workers for their selfless work and care for patients.
He noted that starting in April 2026, with the support of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, the salaries of doctors will be increased by 100 percent. Additionally, 5,000 mortgage apartments will be provided to healthcare workers. These measures are aimed at improving the social protection of medical workers and increasing the attractiveness of the medical profession.
In conclusion of the New Year events, Deputy Minister Ryspek Sulkaidarov conveyed warm greetings and support to the staff and students of the Republican Specialized Center for Rehabilitation of Children and Family in Tokmok. The children were given New Year gifts, and the staff received awards and certificates of honor from the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic. The institution was also handed a certificate for the amount of 200,000 soms. ```
