The event began at the main New Year tree in Freedom Square (Azattyk). The presidential representative congratulated the children on the upcoming New Year.
150 children from various districts of the region participated in the celebration. Among them were honor students, orphans, children with disabilities, children from disadvantaged families, children of fallen servicemen, as well as winners of sports competitions.
The festive program continued with a theatrical performance by the creative team of the regional Barpy Kyrgyz Drama Theater. The presidential representative also presented gifts to the participants of the event.
