In Batken, a New Year's celebration for children was held, organized by the presidential representative in the region, Aibek Shamenov.
According to the regional administration, the event gathered 110 children from different parts of the region. Among them were honor students, children from large and low-income families, as well as children without guardians and those who lost their parents as a result of border conflicts.
In his address to the participants, Aibek Shamenov urged the children to strive for knowledge, set high goals, and bring joy to their parents.
For the young audience, artists from the Batken Regional Drama Theater presented a New Year's fairy tale. At the end of the celebration, each child received gifts from the regional administration.
