In the run-up to the New Year, preparations are actively underway across Kyrgyzstan. Local administrations are decorating towns and villages, thereby creating a true festive atmosphere.

Bishkek and Ala-Too Square
In Bishkek, the main tree is considered to be the one located at Ala-Too Square. A large area for relaxation and entertainment has been organized here: an ice rink covering 1500 square meters, market stalls, a food court, a Santa's house, as well as zones for workshops, photos, and games.
And, of course, we cannot forget about the tree!
The city hall describes this tree as follows: "The main New Year tree of Bishkek in 2025 is made in a minimalist style. It has a classic conical shape and is covered with a dense artificial fir coating in dark green."
Regular performances take place at the concert venue, however, the tree is turned off at 11:00 PM, probably to save electricity...
Talas in the Snow!
The opening of the New Year tree in Talas coincided with the completion of the restoration of the central square and the appearance of snow cover, creating a magical atmosphere.
Osh Beauty
In the southern capital, a tree has been set up in the square that rivals the size of Bishkek's, but it is decorated differently.
In Osh, an ice rink and a small fair have also been organized for everyone who wishes to participate.
Yellow Lights of Naryn
In Naryn, the tree was lit in mid-December. It is located in the central square near the administration, but there are no other attractions here.
Candy Pyramid from Manas
In Manas, the New Year tree is decorated with large ornaments resembling candies. Unfortunately, there are no planned events around it.
Tokmok and Stars
Tokmok has also set up its New Year beauty, decorated with long garlands that create a festive atmosphere.
Batken Tenderness
On December 17, the lights were turned on the 20-meter tree installed in the central square near the regional administration in Batken. It stands out with its unconventional lilac-purple color and modern decorations.
Karakoil and Installations
On December 19, the lights were turned on the New Year tree in Karakoil. The installations and the tree itself were covered with snow, adding a special mood to the celebration.
