In the Moscow district, a New Year's celebration called the Akim's Christmas Tree took place, where 200 children received New Year gifts.

According to the district state administration, the event was held on December 29 in the Chui region, in the Moscow district.

The Akim's Christmas Tree was organized in two stages.

“The Akim's Christmas Tree is a traditional New Year event held by local authorities. This year it took place in two stages,” the message states.

The first stage was held at secondary school No. 1 in the village of Ak-Suu, where 100 of the most distinguished students were present.

The second stage took place at secondary school No. 2 named after V. V. Stepanenko in the village of Belovodskoye, where 100 children with disabilities and their parents gathered.
During the celebration, gifts were handed out to 200 children, and entertainment programs including games and performances were organized.

“I am very nervous. Together with my classmate Ivan Borzy, we were the hosts at the Akim's Christmas Tree organized for children with disabilities. I played the role of the Snow Maiden. These children are very sensitive — they sang, danced, and amazed the audience,” said Alina Verbitskaya, an 11th-grade student at secondary school No. 2 named after V. V. Stepanenko from Belovodskoye.

The celebration was also attended by the first deputy representative of the president in the Chui region, representatives of the regional court, and other officials.
