A celebration dedicated to the New Year took place in Manas yesterday, organized by the city hall for children.
The solemn event was attended by the mayor of Manas, Ernisbek Ormokov, the deputy chairman of the city council, Marlen Turdukulov, as well as local council deputies.
The celebration was held in the large hall of the new administrative building, where 250 young guests gathered. Among them were honor roll students, winners of contests and sports competitions, as well as children from low-income families.
As part of the event, theatrical performances were held, prepared by the children's creativity center "Ariet" and the Osh regional Kyrgyz dramatic theater named after Barpy Alykulov. The children were able to enjoy songs and dances accompanied by fairy tale characters.
At the end of the celebration, all the children received gifts on behalf of the city hall and the city council.
