Kanibek Dosmambetov, the Minister of Health, visited the oncology and oncohematology departments of the National Center for Maternal and Child Health, as well as the Rehabilitation Center for Children and Family Support in Bishkek.
In anticipation of the New Year holidays, the Ministry of Health organized a festive event for young patients with the participation of entertainers and presented them with gifts.
After that, the minister congratulated the children, their parents, and the staff of the Rehabilitation Center, where awards and certificates of honor were also presented to the nurses and caregivers, along with New Year presents for the children.
Furthermore, Dosmambetov announced plans to increase doctors' salaries by 100 percent starting in April 2026.
“We have decided to provide 5,000 mortgage apartments for healthcare workers, which will improve social conditions in the healthcare sector, strengthen the workforce, and enhance the attractiveness of the profession,” he added.
The Deputy Minister, Ryspek Sydygaliev, also delivered gifts to the children at the Republican Specialized Center for Rehabilitation of Children and Families with CNS Damage and Mental Disorders in Tokmak. The institution was awarded a certificate for 200,000 soms to support its activities.
