During a morning inspection conducted by the mayor of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, along with employees of the relevant services, the boundaries of the water protection zone of the "Zhekelik" canal, which runs through the territory of the "Manas-Ata" management, were examined. According to the mayor's office, during the inspection, the mayor drew attention to the café "Eurasia," located on A. Navoi Street, which has not been operational for many years. Part of its structures was built directly on the shore.
Toktorbaev issued an order for the prompt demolition of illegal structures built in the water protection zone of the "Zhekelik" canal, with the aim of completely clearing the municipal territory.
In addition, as part of the raid, the mayor ordered a detailed inspection of other facilities whose construction works extend beyond the established boundaries and violate the protective zones of the canal.
