With a design capacity of 21 MW, the Orto-Tokoy HPP plans to complete all construction work in the first half of 2026. As of early January, the following results have been achieved:
- The 950-meter long diversion tunnel is fully completed;
- Concrete work on the lining of the water supply tunnel is underway;
- Preparatory work on soil stabilization and wall construction at the junction node has been completed;
- Preparation for the installation of the tunnel interchange with three exits is ongoing: metal structures measuring 93.6 meters have been installed in one exit, and 74.4 meters in another.
As for the building of the hydroelectric power station itself, important stages of work have also been completed:
- The construction of the HPP building is 90% complete;
- Reinforcement and concreting work on the columns for the lifting mechanisms of the spillway gates in the lower reach has been completed;
- The roof frame installation is complete;
- Work on laying the roofing material is ongoing;
- The installation of hydro turbines No. 1, 2, and 3, as well as the disk gates, has been completed.
