On Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue, between the Southern Highway and Semetey Street, the main stages of construction of four underground pedestrian crossings have been completed. It took specialists only 10-11 days to carry out the work, including excavation of pits, preparation of the foundation, installation of waterproofing and concrete structures, backfilling, and asphalting. Currently, vehicle traffic on the avenue has resumed.
However, near the underground crossings located next to the building of the President's Administration "Yntymak Ordo," as well as at the next crossing, the extreme right lanes of traffic are temporarily closed.
The construction of these four underground crossings was completed in just 12 days. In comparison, the construction of one underground crossing on the section from Akhunbaev Street to the Southern Highway took more than a month from the start of work.
The next stage includes the construction of entrances to the underground crossings, as well as their interior finishing.
