Today, a section of Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue has been opened for vehicle traffic in Bishkek. The section is located between Semetey Street and A. Masaliev Avenue.
According to information provided by the city administration, four underground pedestrian crossings have been constructed in this section. Each of them is 33.5 meters long and 4 meters wide.
Currently, finishing works are ongoing inside these crossings, and the construction of staircases is also taking place.
It is worth noting that at the request of the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, all work was carried out during the holidays to minimize the load on transportation and reduce inconvenience for the residents.
