According to information from local authorities, the dismantling of the railway track on the section from Jalal-Abad to Kök-Jaŋgak, which spans from 406 to 421 km, has begun in accordance with the directive from the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The dismantling will take place on the stretch from T. Baizakov Avenue in Manas to Ormon Biy Street in Oktyabrsky.
This section has not been used since 1998, and its total length is 15.4 kilometers.
The dismantling work is scheduled to be completed by February 1. A new highway will be built in place of the old railway.
