The document also highlights significant Chinese projects being implemented in Kyrgyzstan in 2024-2025.
- One of the most notable is the "green" project — the construction of a solar power plant in Balakchy, located on the shores of Issyk-Kul.
Funding for this project is provided by a Chinese investor, as well as attracted borrowed resources with the support of the Green Energy Fund under the government of Kyrgyzstan.
- Additionally, an important infrastructure project is the construction of a railway connecting China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, in which China's share in the joint venture is 51%.
Overall investments from China are estimated at $3.53 billion, a significant portion of which will be financed from its own funds. At the same time, $2.35 billion is allocated in the form of a concessional loan from Chinese financial institutions.
Construction work officially began in December 2024, and the launch of railway traffic is planned for 2030. More than half of the railway's length, exceeding 500 km, will pass through the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
- Additionally, the logistics and raw materials block includes:
the coal logistics center Xinjiang Dacheng Yuanlong Technology, located in the Osh region,
the project of the solid waste recycling plant Hunan Junxin Environmental Protection in Bishkek.
