Kyrgyzstan has become one of the key importers of Russian livestock products within the EAEU, alongside countries such as Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Armenia. The main products that Kyrgyzstan imports include poultry meat, pork, live animals, and eggs.
Key changes in export volumes:
- Pork and offal: an increase of 26% (from 270.4 to 340.8 thousand tons);
- Poultry meat and offal: an increase of 6.9% (from 371.6 to 397.2 thousand tons);
- Pork and poultry fat: an increase of 10.1% (from 15 to 16.5 thousand tons);
- Live agricultural animals: an increase of 76% (from 375.4 to 661.6 thousand heads);
- Incubation eggs: an increase of 103% (from 11.5 to 23.5 million pieces);
- Table eggs: an increase of 62% (from 240 to 388.4 million pieces).
At the same time, there is a decrease in some categories:
- Fish and seafood: a decrease of 12.2% (from 1.66 to 1.46 million tons);
- Lamb: a decrease of 50% (from 8 to 4 thousand tons);
- Beef and offal: a decrease of 13.5% (from 44.1 to 38.2 thousand tons);
- Processed meat products: a decrease of 3.9% (from 84.4 to 81.2 thousand tons);
- Dairy products: a decrease of 3.8% (from 193.2 to 185.9 thousand tons).
