Construction of modern bus stop complexes has also begun

The Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, announced the start of construction of underground pedestrian crossings and modern bus stop complexes on Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue. This was reported by the press service of the mayor's office.

As part of this project, four underground crossings are planned to be built on the section from Semetey Street to A. Masaliyev Avenue. One of these crossings has already been opened for use on Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue.

Additionally, 16 new bus stop complexes that meet modern safety and comfort standards for passengers will be installed on the segment between Akhunbaev Street and Semetey Street.

With the start of construction work, a section of Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue—from A. Masaliyev Avenue to Semetey Street—has been temporarily closed to vehicular traffic.

The mayor has instructed all city services to ensure high-quality work and complete the construction within the established deadlines to minimize inconvenience for the capital's residents.

The work began during the holiday weekend to reduce traffic load and lessen discomfort for the citizens.
