
A new section of Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue has been opened in Bishkek, which is now accessible for vehicular traffic. This section is located between Semetey Street and Masaliev Avenue and became available after the completion of the construction of four underground pedestrian crossings, as reported by the city mayor's office.
Each of the underground crossings is 33.5 meters long and 4 meters wide. Currently, the finishing of the interior spaces of the crossings is ongoing, as well as the construction of staircases.

According to information provided by the mayor's office, the work was organized during the holiday weekend at the request of Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev. This decision was made to reduce traffic congestion and minimize inconveniences for the city's residents.
