According to official data, the southern branch of the state enterprise "NC Kyrgyz Temir Zholu" has started dismantling the railway track that runs from the 406th to the 421st kilometer on the Jalal-Abad — Kok-Jangak section, based on an order from the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
It is worth noting that train traffic on this section was stopped back in 1998, and since then this railway has not been used. The total length of the dismantled track is 15.4 kilometers.
The work will cover the section from Bayzakov Avenue in Manas to Ormon Biy Street in the village of Oktyabr.
The dismantling of the old railway is planned to be completed by February 1.
