At the Russian Drama Theater named after Chyngyz Aitmatov, the long-awaited premiere of the play "Princess Turandot," based on the famous fable by Carlo Gozzi, will take place on December 7 and 8.
As reported by theater sources, the direction of the play will be carried out by the Moscow theater figure Timur Galeev.
The plot unfolds in Beijing, where Princess Turandot, the daughter of the emperor, captivates the hearts of all around her with her beauty and stubbornness. To win her love, suitors must solve three riddles that she presents. Those who fail to meet this challenge face a harsh fate — losing their heads.
