On January 14, employees of the Lenin District Akimat of Bishkek, together with the Department for Land Use Control, began the demolition of illegal structures. To maintain public order and prevent possible conflicts at the demolition sites, police officers are on duty.

According to the Akimat, the demolition is taking place in the territory of MTU No. 10 in contour No. 107, as well as in the residential areas of "Ak-Ordo" and "Orok." Structures built without the necessary permits from 2021 until the end of 2025 are subject to demolition.

Additionally, in contour No. 67, two illegal buildings on State Fund land were dismantled, and permanent fences on five plots of land in contour No. 516 of MTU No. 109 were demolished.

Some owners of illegally constructed houses provided written commitments to voluntarily demolish their buildings by January 31, which is why work on certain sites has been temporarily suspended.

Representatives of the Lenin District Akimat noted that owners of illegal structures in the areas of MTU No. 109, 106, and 107 have repeatedly received official notifications demanding the demolition and restoration of the land plots to their original state. Explanatory work has also been conducted with the residents.
