In Bishkek, before the heavy rain that preceded the New Year, the Old Bishkek area was affected, where flooding occurred. Social media users began actively sharing photos and videos from the flooded areas, criticizing the designers for inadequate preparation.
In response to the criticism, Nariman Tyuleev, one of the authors of the Old Bishkek project, urged the city's residents not to rush to conclusions and to show patience. He emphasized that the project is still in the implementation stage.
Tyuleev also noted that the completion of the work is planned for April or May, after which he will be ready to present the results. "Dear residents, I also love my city and strive to make Old Bishkek a true treasure of our capital," he wrote on social media.
