As the president noted, in 2025, the State Housing Corporation (GIK) was able to provide housing for 4,662 families, which is four times higher than the figures for 2024.
“Since the establishment of GIK, 14,945 families have received housing, most of whom began receiving apartments from 2021. Currently, 80,245 apartments are actively under construction across the country. If everything goes according to plan, by the end of this year, 20,000 apartments will be commissioned in cities such as Bishkek, Osh, Manas, Tokmok, Kara-Balta, Karakol, Cholpon-Ata, Balıkçı, Naryn, Talas, and Batken, as well as in the Kochkor district of Naryn region, and in the Kara-Suu and Uzgen districts of Osh region,” said Japarov.
Additionally, the president emphasized that the authorized capital of the State Mortgage Company, established ten years ago with an initial capital of 10 million soms, has now increased to 87 billion soms.
“In the future, we intend to raise this figure to 200 billion soms,” added the head of state.
