Today in Bishkek, 1,080 people became the owners of long-awaited apartments provided by the State Mortgage Company. Among them are both local residents and labor migrants who have been waiting for their own housing for a long time.
Chynara Minbaeva, one of the new homeowners, shared her experience of receiving an apartment from the SMC.
“I stood in line in the social category for 2.5 years. Today, I received the keys to my apartment from the hands of President Sadyr Japarov. Currently, I work in a restaurant, and before that, I worked at the 'Orto-Sai' market. I was allocated a one-bedroom apartment with an area of 51 square meters, as I have a daughter,” she said.

“I have four children. I flew in from Moscow at night to make it to the ceremony. I am very happy!” she noted.

This project includes the construction of a residential complex consisting of 39 blocks, which will have 4,754 apartments.
