Venezuelan authorities reported 100 dead as a result of the U.S. operation

According to Diosdado Cabello, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Venezuela, at least 100 people have died as a result of the United States' attack on the country. He noted that among the victims are civilians, including women who were in their homes and became victims of the powerful bombs dropped on Venezuela.

"At the moment, the death toll stands at 100 people, and the same number have been injured," the minister added, as reported by CNN.

American authorities, for their part, estimated the number of casualties in the operation to capture Maduro at 75 people, among whom were those killed in the shootout at his residence in Caracas.
