The attack occurred on the night of January 3, when American forces struck targets in the capital of Venezuela. As a result of these actions, President Nicolas Maduro and his wife were detained and taken out of the country, facing charges of "narcoterrorism."
It was previously reported that Maduro was taken to a detention center in Brooklyn, New York.
