According to sources from the Wall Street Journal, the U.S. military operation in Venezuela continues to evolve, and the country's authorities confirm its active conduct.

The White House is expected to make an official statement regarding the situation in Venezuela after American troops leave the airspace of this South American country.

Donald Trump confirmed that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife were captured and taken out of the country during the operation.

Although reports from Caracas indicate that the explosions have ceased, American military aviation is still present in the skies over the city.

Interestingly, just a few hours before the start of the American attack, Nicolás Maduro met with a representative of Chinese President Xi Jinping, and it remains unclear whether the Chinese delegation managed to leave Caracas before the hostilities began.
