In the southern part of the city, near a significant military base, there has been a power outage.

U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly spoken about the possibility of conducting ground operations in Venezuela. Washington is trying to exert pressure on the current president, Nicolás Maduro, aiming for his resignation. Various measures are being employed for this, including the expansion of sanctions, an increase in U.S. military presence in the region, and more than two dozen strikes on ships allegedly involved in drug trafficking in the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.
