On December 29, Peruvian shamans conducted a traditional New Year's ritual, during which they made important predictions regarding international politics and the health of world leaders, including U.S. President Donald Trump and Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, as reported by Reuters.
Juan de Dios Garcia, one of the shamans, warned that "the United States must be prepared, as Donald Trump will face a serious illness." Along with other participants in the ritual, he was on the beach in southern Lima, dressed in a bright poncho and scattering flowers on the sand.
As part of the ritual, the shamans held posters depicting various world leaders. They crossed swords, burned incense, and some posters were trampled underfoot.
The ritual also featured posters with images of Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and Volodymyr Zelensky.
Garcia added, "We see that Nicolás Maduro will be defeated. He will leave Venezuela and will not be caught."
Regarding Peru's domestic politics, the shaman predicted that Keiko Fujimori, daughter of former President Alberto Fujimori, will finally win the presidential elections after several unsuccessful attempts.
Additionally, the shamans foretold the end of the war in Ukraine, stating, "I see that the conflict will end, and a flag of peace will be raised."
This annual ceremony takes place at the end of December, and previously, the shamans also predicted the end of the war in Ukraine for 2023.
