Senator Mike Lee also shared information about a phone call with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in which he stated that American military personnel had detained Maduro for legal proceedings on criminal charges in the U.S. Lee added that the actions taken against Venezuela were aimed at protecting the American military personnel executing the arrest warrant: "Tonight we witnessed actions aimed at protecting those who were carrying out this warrant," he wrote on social media X.
