“This would be very bad.” Trump commented on the attack of Ukrainian drones on Putin's residence

Immediately after the attack, Trump expressed his dissatisfaction and noted that he did not approve of Ukraine's actions. He recalled that he had not provided Kyiv with Tomahawk missiles, pointing out that such actions at this delicate time are extremely inappropriate. “This is not good. I was informed about the attack. President Putin told me about it early in the morning,” he added.

“I don’t like this. We cannot attack his house. Now is not the time for such actions,” Trump emphasized.

The situation surrounding the alleged attack has led to new disputes and negatively affected the peace prospects in Ukraine, according to Reuters reports. In response, Russia announced a reassessment of its position in negotiations.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) also condemned Ukraine's actions, calling them a “heinous attack.” The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed support for the Russian government and condemned all forms of violence.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky rejected the accusations that Ukraine attacked Putin's residence, blaming Moscow for attempts to derail peace negotiations. He noted that Russia had previously struck government facilities in Kyiv.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reported that the attack using 91 drones was carried out on Putin's state residence. He added that all drones were intercepted by Russian air defense, and there were no reports of casualties or damage.

Lavrov also stated that after the “final degradation of the Kyiv regime,” Russia intends to reassess its negotiating position. Zelensky, for his part, urged the world not to stand aside and not to allow Russia to undermine efforts to achieve lasting peace.
