The Cabinet equated the salaries of former military court servicemen to positions in the Ministry of Defense

The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, issued resolution No. 819, dated December 23, 2025, which amended the government act concerning the abolition of military courts. This resolution was approved on August 18, 2017, under number 506.

In the updated document, paragraph 9 was supplemented, which now includes the following provisions:

- Salaries for military personnel who previously served in military courts and receive pensions under the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Pension Provision for Military Personnel" are now comparable to the salaries for the following positions:
- The head of the financial and material support department of the Military Court is equated to the head of an independent department of the Ministry of Defense.
- The head of the office of the Military Court is considered equivalent to the head of a department in the Ministry of Defense.
- Heads of offices of military courts in the Batken, Osh, and Bishkek garrisons, as well as in Balakchy, are equated to officers of the Ministry of Defense.
- The senior secretary of the court session of the Military Court receives a salary according to the 7th grade tariff scale for military personnel serving under contract in the positions of warrant officers, senior sergeants, sergeants, and privates.
- The assistant to the head of the financial and material support department receives a salary according to the 8th grade tariff scale.
- The senior driver of the Military Court is also classified under the 8th grade tariff scale.
- The driver of the Military Court of the garrison has a salary according to the 2nd grade tariff scale.
- The senior secretary of the court session of the Military Court of the garrison receives a salary according to the 7th grade tariff scale.

The resolution will come into effect 10 days after its official publication. This decision is aimed at protecting the social rights of military personnel who served in the military courts of the Kyrgyz Republic.
