In connection with the brutal murder of a mother of three children, two police officers have been detained, and criminal cases have been initiated against them for official crimes.
As reported by representatives of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), the criminal case regarding the murder was initiated at the direction of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kamchybek Tashiev. An investigative operational group has been established to investigate, which pays special attention to the causes and circumstances that contributed to the commission of this serious crime.
The investigation revealed that the murdered woman had a protection order indicating a high risk to her life and health. Despite numerous appeals from the woman, the district police officer of the Sverdlovsk District of Bishkek, J.N., took no action to ensure her safety and protect her children.
Furthermore, after the murder was committed, according to the investigation, this same district police officer forged reports of allegedly conducted checks at the residence of the suspect, trying to cover up his inaction.
It was also found that the senior inspector of the public safety service of the Bishkek City Police Department, A.K., illegally extended the permit for the possession and carrying of a traumatic pistol issued to the accused. At the time of the crime, the validity of this permit had already expired, but no measures were taken to confiscate the weapon.
On December 29, 2025, in connection with these facts, the GKNB initiated criminal cases against both police officers. They were detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB. In accordance with the law, charges will be brought against them within the established timeframe, and the preventive measure will be determined by the Lenin District Court of Bishkek.
The investigation is ongoing, and based on its results, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of all law enforcement officers involved in the case.
