The trolleybus network in the country ensures sustainable mobility without polluting the atmosphere and takes into account the needs of all citizens, including people with disabilities and children.In honor of this anniversary, the #Bishkek Smog initiative invites everyone to a festive event that will take place on January 16 at 17:00 at: Orozbekova St., 87, Park Hotel Bishkek, Ballroom, 2nd floor.
Among the honored guests will be employees of the trolleybus management, and we invite everyone who has ever worked in the field of electric mobility!
Event Program
First part: Expert Round Table- 17:00-17:15 - Welcome speech. Presentations by representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the KR, the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the KR, as well as the Bishkek City Hall (information to be confirmed).
- 17:15-17:30 - Lecture "Knowledge about Urban Electric Transport: History and Modernity" by Yegor Muleev, a researcher at the Leibniz Institute of Regional Geography (Leipzig, Germany, online).
- 17:30-17:45 - Presentation on the electric mobility project by Professor Ángel Aparicio, UNDP KR expert. Since 2009, he has been a professor of transport at the Technical University of Madrid (online, with translation from Russian to English).
- 17:45-18:00 - Presentations by representatives of the UN Human Rights Office, EBRD, ADB, and "Bir Duyno - Kyrgyzstan" (information to be confirmed).
- 18:00-18:30 - Time for questions and discussion.
- 18:30-18:50 - Quiz on electric transport.
- 18:50-19:30 - Musical performance and acknowledgments to veterans of the trolleybus management.
