
In 2025, there is an increase in supplies from Russia
According to the National Statistical Committee, more than 85% of cattle imported into Kyrgyzstan in 2025 came from Russia.
From the beginning of the year until October, 19,400 heads of cattle worth 6.3 million dollars were imported into the republic, which is 35.6% higher than the figures for 2024.
Of this volume, 16,700 heads were brought in from Russia, which corresponds to an increase in supplies by 1.6 times.
Kazakhstan ranks second among exporting countries; however, supplies from there have decreased by 1.6 times, amounting to only 2,500 heads.
Additionally, cattle are also imported from the Czech Republic, Armenia, and Uzbekistan.
