Kyrgyzstan has entered the top ten major importers of chocolate from Russia

A recent report from the UN Comtrade platform states that Kyrgyzstan has ranked among the top ten largest importers of chocolate coming from Russia.

At the top of the ranking are Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Uzbekistan, which became leaders in purchasing Russian chocolate in 2025.

According to data from the Federal Center for the Development of Export of Agricultural Products "Agroexport," from January to September, Kazakh companies purchased chocolate worth $192 million. Belarus imported products worth $123 million, while Uzbekistan spent over $68 million.

Next on the list were Azerbaijan with an import volume of $48 million and Armenia, which purchased chocolate for $28.5 million. Kyrgyzstan ranked sixth with an indicator of $26.1 million, followed by Georgia ($19.5 million) and China ($14.4 million).

Additionally, Moldova ($7.7 million) and Serbia ($6.8 million) also made it into the top ten.
