Compared to the same period last year, the volume of exported timber products increased by 30%. The main export items included sawn and unsawn boards, beams, and lumber, which were primarily sent to China, Egypt, and Japan.
Inspectors also monitored the export of animal products, with a total weight of 361.5 thousand tons, including 337.7 thousand doses and 118.4 thousand units. The main categories of goods included feed and feed additives, meat and meat products, as well as fur raw materials. The leading importing countries were Thailand, China, Vietnam, and Morocco. There is a significant increase — the export of feed has grown 2.7 times compared to 2024 and 9 times compared to 2023.
From the region, 33.7 thousand tons of livestock products were exported to nine countries, which is 36% more than in 2024. The main items were pork (19.3 thousand tons) and pork by-products (13.7 thousand tons), with the largest quantity of pork sent to China (17.8 thousand tons). Products were also directed to Vietnam, Hong Kong, Georgia, Serbia, Azerbaijan, and the UAE, which became a new market starting in August 2025.
Moreover, 464.3 tons of canned fish were sent to Uzbekistan, Georgia, and Azerbaijan, while 231 tons of fish and fish products were exported to Estonia and Georgia.
In 2025, the Pskov region exported quarantine products, mainly timber (57 thousand cubic meters) and peat (over 8 thousand tons), to 23 countries, which is 31.7% higher than the figures for 2024. In total, over 1.6 thousand phytosanitary certificates were issued for 13.9 thousand tons and 57.5 thousand cubic meters.
The timber and peat exported from the Pskov region are also directed to Kyrgyzstan.
