Kyrgyzstan has secured a spot in the top five countries that actively purchase champagne from Russia. This information is provided by the federal center for the development of export products "Agroexport."
According to the data provided, from January to November 2025, Russia exported over 2,000 tons of sparkling wines worth more than $3.3 million.
In the same period of 2024, the shipment volume was 1,600 tons, corresponding to a value of over $2.3 million. This means that in quantitative terms, supplies increased by 30 percent, and in value terms — by 41 percent.
The top two positions among major importers are held by Kazakhstan and China, whose contributions are 28 and 27 percent, respectively. Additionally, 17 percent of imports come from Belarus, 6 percent from Kyrgyzstan, and 5 percent from Abkhazia.
