Kyrgyzstanis believe that the country is moving in the right direction - opinion poll

According to research conducted by the Kusein Isaev Center for Social Research at Bishkek Humanities University from December 25 to 29, 2025, nine out of ten surveyed Kyrgyzstani citizens believe that the country is moving in the right direction.

At the same time, 11 percent of respondents expressed doubts and answered negatively to this question.

Regarding the results of the past year, more than 64 percent of survey participants rated it positively. Meanwhile, 17 percent of respondents noted that the year was very successful, while 25 percent considered it mixed—both good and bad. 7 percent of those surveyed characterized the year as rather difficult or very hard.

Optimism about 2026 was expressed by more than 84 percent of survey participants.

A total of 1,039 people participated in the study, representing all seven regions of Kyrgyzstan.
