In the past 24 hours, there were 365 births in Kyrgyzstan, resulting in the arrival of 367 children, including four sets of twins. This information is provided by the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to preliminary data, from 08:00 on December 31, 2025, to 08:00 on January 1, 2026, 177 boys and 190 girls were born. During this same period, nine cesarean sections were performed.
The twins were born at the Jalal-Abad Interregional Combined Clinical Hospital (two sets of twins), as well as one each at the Bishkek City Perinatal Center and the Osh City Maternity Hospital.
The first newborn of 2026, a girl weighing 3.915 kg, was born exactly at midnight at the primary healthcare center in the Issyk-Ata district. In the first ten minutes of the new year, from 00:00 to 00:10, 11 children were born in the republic: six boys and five girls.
The highest number of births in a day was recorded in the Jalal-Abad region — 81. Bishkek saw 69 births, while Osh and the Osh region had 68.
