According to information from the Ministry of Health, there were 365 births recorded in Kyrgyzstan over the past day, including four cases of twins.
Twin births were registered in several medical institutions: two at the Jalal-Abad Interregional Combined Clinical Hospital, one at the Bishkek City Perinatal Center, and one at the Osh City Maternity Hospital.
From 8:00 AM on December 31, 2025, to 8:00 AM on January 1, 2026, 177 boys and 190 girls were born in the republic, and 9 cesarean section operations were performed.
The first newborn of 2026 was a girl weighing 3.915 kg, born at the Issyk-Ata Center for General Medical Practice exactly at midnight. In total, from 00:00 to 00:10 on January 1, 11 children were born, including 5 girls and 6 boys.
The highest number of births was recorded in the Jalal-Abad region — 81, in Bishkek — 69, and in the city of Osh and Osh region — 68.
