The Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the work schedule of medical institutions during the holiday days. It is important to note that on December 30 and 31, all medical organizations in the country will operate in an enhanced mode. Additional shifts for medical personnel and increased readiness of emergency services are planned for these days.
From January 1 to 9, 2026, during the New Year holidays, medical institutions will function as usual with on-call responsible staff. Round-the-clock emergency care will be provided in hospitals, reserves of beds for emergency hospitalization will be formed, and the availability of necessary medications and medical products will be ensured.
At the level of outpatient care, in family medicine centers and family doctor groups, on-call shifts will be organized from 08:00 to 18:00 from January 1 to 9. Procedure rooms will operate until 14:00.
Emergency medical services in Bishkek, Osh, and other regions will function around the clock. The operation of sanitary aviation and on-call specialists from the sanitary-epidemiological service and laboratories will also be ensured.
The Ministry of Health emphasized that medical assistance during the New Year holidays will be provided promptly and in full, urging citizens to contact medical institutions when necessary.
