More than 12,000 police officers will ensure law and order on New Year's Eve

In anticipation of the New Year holidays, starting from December 29, the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic began to serve in an enhanced mode.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 12,000 police officers will be involved on New Year's Eve to ensure public safety and order.

To check the readiness of personnel to perform their duties, the First Deputy Minister and his deputies conducted inspections and roll calls across all regions of the country. The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also traveled to the regions to assess the organization of service and readiness to fulfill the assigned tasks.

A chief from the main departments and divisions of the Central Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was appointed to each regional unit for control, coordination of actions, and operational response during the holiday period.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs is taking all necessary measures to ensure a safe and peaceful celebration of the New Year holidays. Special police units will be on duty in places of mass gatherings, on the streets, and in public spaces so that every citizen and guest of the country can celebrate the New Year in an atmosphere of safety and order.
