More than 12,000 police officers will ensure order on New Year's Eve

With the approach of the New Year holidays, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan announced a transition to an enhanced work regime. The department reported that on New Year's Eve, more than 12,000 police officers will be involved in ensuring safety and order throughout the country.

In anticipation of the festive events, high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted garrison roll calls and inspections of personnel in the regions of Kyrgyzstan to assess the readiness of units to carry out their tasks. Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs also traveled to the regions to check on the situation on the ground.

Heads of the main departments of the Ministry have been assigned to regional units to monitor, coordinate actions, and respond promptly during the holidays.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, enhanced police patrols will be on duty in places where people gather, as well as on the streets and in public spaces. Law enforcement agencies are taking all necessary measures to ensure that the New Year holidays take place in a calm and safe atmosphere for citizens and guests of the country.
