According to information from the capital's Main Internal Affairs Directorate, from December 29, 2025, to January 8, 2026, the police will ensure safety in places with large crowds of people.

As part of these measures, a garrison assembly took place in Ala-Too Central Square, attended by Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, Chief of the Capital's Main Internal Affairs Directorate Colonel of Police Azamat Toktonaliev, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, district administrations, and unit commanders.

Speaking at the event, the mayor emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order during the holiday season, noting that joint efforts with the municipal inspection and other services will help ensure the safety of citizens.

The main tasks facing the enhanced patrols include preventing offenses and crimes, as well as responding quickly to emergencies, especially in places where New Year celebrations are held, in central squares, and in shopping centers.

During the assembly, the leaders conveyed key tasks to the personnel, emphasizing the importance of maintaining service discipline, legality, and proper communication with citizens.

The Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek calls on both local residents and guests of the city to adhere to public order rules and safety measures during the New Year holidays.
