The country's economy must grow by 8 percent annually.
The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to implement an action plan aimed at achieving medium-term goals for socio-economic development. The main objectives of this document are to ensure economic growth at a rate of 8 percent per year and to increase the gross domestic product to 30 billion dollars.
This plan covers the most important sectors of the economy and involves significant reforms in industry, logistics, agriculture, tourism, and energy.
As part of industrialization, the creation of technological hubs and the launch of pilot industrial clusters are planned. These measures are aimed at developing the manufacturing sector and introducing modern technologies.
Regarding logistics, the plan includes the expansion and construction of new highways, modernization of border crossing points, implementation of a railway project connecting China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, as well as the establishment of a Kyrgyz-Kazakh industrial trade and logistics complex.
In agriculture, there are plans to increase areas for organic farming to 202 thousand hectares.
To develop tourism, it is planned to attract major international hotel brands and improve the road infrastructure leading to tourist attractions.
In the energy sector, the construction of new hydroelectric power stations is planned, including the Upper Naryn and Sary-Jaz cascades, completion of work on the Kambar-Ata-1 project, as well as the construction of power transmission lines and substations.
Thus, this document aims at the comprehensive development of the economy and increasing the country's resilience in the medium term.
