According to the minister, over the past three years, the average annual growth rate of the gross domestic product (GDP) has been 9.8%. In 2025, economic activity remained at a high level: over 11 months, the real GDP growth reached 10.2%, which is a record result.
“According to information from the International Monetary Fund, in 2024, Kyrgyzstan was among the top three leading countries in the world in terms of real GDP growth rates. I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone whose hard work and professionalism contribute to the development and prosperity of our country, as well as strengthen the authority of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic both domestically and internationally,” noted Sydykov.
He also emphasized that according to assessments from leading international rating agencies, in 2025, Kyrgyzstan's sovereign credit rating was upgraded to 'B+', which is an important step towards strengthening the international image of the state and increasing its investment attractiveness. “All indicators confirm that the country's economy is finding its way to sustainable and quality growth. We have a strong financial foundation, stable development dynamics, and confidence in the future. In 2026, we will continue our systematic and consistent work. The main focus will be on creating and maintaining favorable conditions for the development of the industrial sector, forming a positive internal environment for investors and entrepreneurs, promoting multipolarity in foreign economic activity, implementing fiscal reform, as well as strengthening ecological sustainability and adapting to global climate changes,” added the Minister of Economy.
