In an interview with Aynur Samanov, the trade representative of Russia in Kyrgyzstan, key achievements of 2025 were highlighted and plans for 2026 were outlined.
According to him, the republic is demonstrating positive dynamics in attracting investments thanks to long-term strategic initiatives and active development of bilateral relations. Russia holds one of the leading positions among the CIS countries in terms of investment volumes in Kyrgyzstan.
Aynur Samanov particularly emphasized the growing interest from Russian IT companies in the Kyrgyz market, which opens new horizons for the implementation of digital technologies and the expansion of technological cooperation. Next year, the Trade Representation plans to increase the number of projects in the field of information technology, focusing on promoting Russian IT solutions and integrating digital services, as well as supporting e-commerce platforms.
Currently, joint projects between Russia and Kyrgyzstan are being implemented in various sectors of the economy, including energy, industry, trade, and services. It is expected that 2026 will be even more successful for the development of trade, economic, and investment relations between the two countries.
In addition, next year, comprehensive support for Russian exporters aimed at entering the Kyrgyz market is planned, including the organization of business missions and informing Russian business circles about the trade potential of the country.
