Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan agreed to increase mutual trade volumes

The parties confirmed the agreements previously reached in Baku



On December 24, a meeting took place in Bishkek between Medera Tumanov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Samad Gasanov, Trade Representative of Azerbaijan for Central Asia. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the implementation of the agreements reached at the 6th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, which took place on December 8, 2025, in Baku.

At the end of the negotiations, the parties agreed on further steps to strengthen bilateral relations, including increasing trade turnover, developing industrial cooperation, and activating the work of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
