A draft resolution has been submitted for public discussion, which implies a temporary ban on the export of mineral fertilizers from Kyrgyzstan beyond the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.

According to the proposal, a six-month restriction is planned, which will take effect five days after the document is adopted. Exceptions will be made for international transit and humanitarian aid provided by the government.

It is also specified that if non-compliance with quality standards is detected during export, the mineral fertilizers may be returned.

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce is required to notify the World Trade Organization and the Eurasian Economic Commission about the introduction of these temporary measures within three days after the resolution comes into force. Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must inform the Executive Committee of the CIS about this decision.

Control over the prevention of illegal export of mineral fertilizers will be entrusted to the State Customs Service and the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security.

It is also proposed to lift the previously imposed similar ban.
