The government of Kyrgyzstan has approved a new action plan covering the period until 2030. The document was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev.

This document is part of the implementation of the National Development Program of the country, which was approved by a presidential decree. The plan outlines key areas related to socio-economic progress and includes about 900 activities. Kyrgyzstan sets itself ambitious goals.
Among them are ensuring an average annual growth of real GDP at the level of 8%, achieving a gross domestic product of at least $30 billion, and increasing GDP per capita to $4,500.
The country's plans also include entering the top 30 countries in terms of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and improving its position in the Human Development Index by 10 points.

Within the framework of the National Program, four main areas of development have been identified: industrialization, creating a regional hub, developing agriculture and tourism, and transitioning to green energy.

Industrialization involves creating a national fund for industrial development, launching pilot clusters, developing technoparks and innovation centers, as well as introducing preferential lending for enterprises that invest in energy-efficient technologies.

The "regional hub" sector includes numerous infrastructure initiatives, among which are:

In the field of agriculture and tourism, the plan includes the development of full-cycle enterprises in animal husbandry, expansion of organic farming, construction of agrologistics centers, digitization of water resource management, and development of tourism clusters focused on ecotourism, medical, and sports tourism.

A separate section of the plan is dedicated to green energy. It includes projects for the construction and launch of large and small hydropower plants, development of energy cascades, construction and modernization of power transmission lines and substations, as well as upgrading existing hydropower plants.

The Cabinet of Ministers emphasizes that the implementation of this action plan will ensure sustainable economic growth, improve the living standards of the population, and achieve the strategic development goals of the country by 2030.
