According to the minister, the economy of Kyrgyzstan has shown steady growth over the past four years, with an average annual GDP growth rate of 9.8 percent over the last three years. In 2025, economic activity remained at a high level: in the first 11 months, real GDP growth reached a record 10.2 percent.
In 2024, Kyrgyzstan entered the list of the three countries with the highest real GDP growth rates, and in 2025, the country's sovereign credit rating was upgraded to "B+".
“All this data indicates that the country's economy is on the path to sustainable and quality development. We have a solid financial foundation, stable growth rates, and confidence in the future,” noted Sydykov.
The minister also specified that in 2026, the priority areas of work will be:
- creating and supporting favorable conditions for the development of the industrial sector;
- forming a positive internal environment for investors and entrepreneurs;
- promoting multipolarity in foreign economic activity;
- implementing fiscal reform;
- strengthening environmental sustainability and adapting to global climate changes.
